Caneel Bay Wedding | Kate & KJ

A note from the bride:

The day was absolutely magical!  Getting ready with my bridesmaids and Mom at Caneel was perfect, first looks in the ruins, wedding vows on the point, and dancing under the stars made for the most incredible day.  It was our dream wedding, filled with 120 friends and family that we love in the most beautiful setting in the Caribbean.

Kate and KJ were married at beautiful Caneel Bay Resort on St. John. Caneel offers everything you could ever want in a destination wedding: comfortable accommodations, private beaches, lush greenery, historical ruins, and stunning ocean views.

The beaming bride and her girlfriends had a relaxing morning getting ready in the estate house before this causal stroll on the lawn in their matching robes and champagne. Who doesn't love a little champagne while their getting ready for their big day!

The unique ruins at Caneel offer such a stunning backdrop for photos. I love it when couples decide to have a first look before their wedding ceremony. A first look is such a special moment that can be captured privately and gives the couple a romantic moment just to themselves before they share their love with their wedding guests for the night! Kate's delicate lace wedding gown looks so elegant against the rustic ruins in these photos.

Having a first look with your dad is a special moment to have captured as well! I just love Kate's dads reaction in this photo below; even the donkey's were blown away by her beauty.
